I know several of you have this lens. Could you let me know how much wobble there is in the barrel? The wobble will be centered under the autofocus/manual focus shift ring.
Does wobble seem to affect image sharpness? I just returned one that had so much wobble here that I thought the lens had been dropped. It also performed quite poorly optically. I am discussing buying one from a list member. This one also has a bit of wobble, so maybe it is normal. On the one that I returned, at closest focus, if one wobbled the lens the focus would change. So depending on the wobble, the subject could be in or out of focus. Does the FA version of this have wobble too? Thanks, Joe
