I just checked mine and can find no wobble. But then again, the guy I bought it from said that he hardly ever used it, and in three years I haven't either.

Does wobble seem to affect image sharpness?
I just returned one that had so much wobble here that I thought the lens had been dropped. It also performed quite poorly optically. I am discussing buying one from a list member. This one also has a bit of wobble, so maybe it is normal.
On the one that I returned, at closest focus, if one wobbled the lens the focus would change. So depending on the wobble, the subject could be in or out of focus.
Does the FA version of this have wobble too?
