Nice grab Bruce. He was doing everything right except watching the ball. What I would like to know is how may people had a chuckle at his expense after they realised he was alright? (Or am I just showing how sick & twisted I am :-)
I never played baseball, but this shot brought back memories of playing cricket as a kid. I was fielding at silly mid-on, the batsman went for a big slog down the ground, lets go of the bat, and all of a sudden my vision is filled with the bat flying toward my head. Luckily I had mastered the, keep-your-eyes-open technique, and jumped out of the way just in time. :-) For those with no idea/interest in cricket these are the fielding positions: http://www.worcestershirewomen.co.uk/Playing/Cricket_Fielding_Positions.html Dave S On Tue, 15 Mar 2005 11:40:45 -0800, Bruce Dayton <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Technical data: > Pentax *istD, Tokina AT-X 80-200/2.8, monopod, > 200mm, 1/750 sec @ f/5.6, ISO 200, manual focus > > http://www.daytonphoto.com/PAW/cambase_0413.htm > > Comments welcome > > > Bruce > >
