Well, actually, I was joking.  I played a bit of baseball as a kid
(but never made Little League), then played some softball as an adult.

I could always catch pretty well.  I had a weak arm, so I couldn't
throw so well.  I was a contact hitter, but had no power to speak of. 
And I wasn't very fast on the basepaths.

Then, at a late age, I found cycling.  I never looked back!

Glad to hear that little fellow got right back in the game, though.  I
don't know that I would have.  Must be a tough kid.
