Film only used when slides were needed for a few years. My little Nikon
950 and 990 managed to make good enough images for what I was doing. I
have a few rolls of B&W that recently moved from the fridge to the deep freeze.
Nothing changed with DS except for big increase in digital image quality.

I was surprised that I stopped using film when my early digital's image
size achieved one megabyte (Olympus 600). That was enough for 4x6 prints,
newsletter and small poster images.

Kit lens with DS. Also due to change from M42 to K mount and a few good
eBay deals: Pentax A 50mm 1.4, Sigma EX 50mm 2.8 macro, Pentax 2X rear
converter and a couple of M42 to K adapters.
Looking for a cheap, fast, good 28mm. (pick 2 of the 3)
