I have used M42 tubes to some success. Their cheap anyway:-)

I find mf'ing a bit easier than AF. More controll.

Believe it or not, i have had decent results from my SMC A 70-210. Its 1:4 
acording to
some phamphlet i 
found a while back,but does a decent job.

Iused to have the A50 1.7 on my istD,but now its mostly the A28 2.8.Nice AOV
