Only if you drink it. I worked with straight methanol and nitromethane race car fuels for many years back in the seventies, frequently in a closed shop. And I used to stick my nose in the neck of a bottle to see if it held methanol or nitro. I'm still around, and I can see well enough to focus. (I probably also swallowed a wee bit, because I sometimes had to start siphon on a new 55 gallon drum.) Paul
