yes, the Coolscan 4000ED has Digital ICE and has lots of trouble with
Kodachromes. my cheap Microtek lost highlight and shadow detail and is only
1950 dpi resolution, but it never showed weird color shifts that the Nikon
does, even on the Kodachrome setting. i have to send my Kodachromes out if i
want to have them scanned.
