Thanks William, you nearly got me confused there...:-).

For "box and cable" systems, are or can the flash heads be triggered
individually?
I mean, If they are/can be - and I buy a multi channel radio remote
triggering device (Pulsar), it should be possible to select different
combinations of which light heads fo off - from the radio trasmitter in the
camera hot shoe - the same as for monolights. Right?

That should read:
The advantage of box and cable lights is light weight equipment on
the light stands.
