For your information. I have noticed the the above described Pentax Shift lens causes underexposure, when set in shift position on the *ist D. This error only occurs when shift is performed in up-down position. Not when it's shifted sideways. I have metered using the green button in "M" mode. I don't remember if this problem also occurs if the lens is used on a film body.
