The 100 ISO is no major loss, albeit a minor gripe none the less.  IMO the
ability to use AA batteries is one of the big pluses for the *ist D.  One
spare set of 15 minute rechargeables and an inexpensive plug in inverter for
my vehicle makes it a no brainer for me, and as a last resort, I can get AA
alkalines anywhere batteries are sold.
