Look, I hate MS as much as the next person, but Windows isn't unstable
like it used to be, and I know a Mac user that has plenty of problems
with his. I don't know about professional printing, but I can do the
same stuff on my PC in any pro layout, photo editing, illustration,
music or video editing tool available for both platforms that one can do
on a Mac. I think it all has to do with what you're comfortable with. 

At Photo Plus I asked a vendor why all the cool laptop accessories are
marketed towards Mac users. He told me that Mac users "have more money"
and that the PC users he'd seen at other shows "all just seemed to be
looking for freebies." I guess the perception is that Macs & their users
are just cooler. Woe is me and my new Dell Inspiron. Wah. :)
