me too tom, and that is exactly the way i am marketing my business, as you will see on my website. I am trying to cover their entire lives as one "story" eg. engagement portraits, wedding portraiture, pregnancy, new baby, family portrait etc. Here is the (very rough) start of one that I just put up yesterday... It is true though, as I do LOVE my work and put alot of love INTO my work, AND it SEEMS to be WORKING - I too, am having alot of return business...
