Thanks Frank, I'm OK and the gear still works but it's 1000km away and there aren't parts in the country so who knows how long I'll be without my favourite lens and body? > Other than the slip in the stream, how was the trip? The slip in the stream could have been much worse, my head was rapidly approaching the rock and I know which would have come off worst. The trip was my first to Tassie and now I guess won't be my last, definitely needed far more time, too much driving, not enough time to exercise my shutter buttons. It's really condensed so has many points of interest over relatively short distances. It's primary income was derived from logging and mining in the past however now it's main income stream is tourism so they've really geared up and serve their visitors well. As of the new year anyone visiting my fair city will be able to board a car carrying ferry and be in Tassie in 20 hours, not a bad diversion. 120 films go in for processing tomorrow and should have the trannies on my light box by Sunday, might be a little while before they hit my scanner though.
