I've had an Epson 3200 for a month or so now, and ever since, I haven't use the lab to do a print. Scan straight off neg, tweak and print on the inkjet.
It scans rollfilm beautifully. Only gripe I have, the holder for MF only allows you to do one frame at a time (the 4x5 holder is on the same carrier). For 35mm, the carrier has two strips of 6 so you can quickly do some low-res scans to see what they look like, and then do high res for the keepers.
Comes with the wonderful Silverfast SE6. Latest Silverfast update finally has presets for my fave film Fuji Press 800.
Quite cheap too - retails for $AU800, shop around for about $640 (and there is an Epson $100 rebate too).
