I sent a lens to Pentax for fungus cleaning. About a year later it was all fung'd up again. I thru it in the garbage (FA28-70/4 AL)
Having said that Pentax does good work and gives a one year warranty. I am currently having a FA28-105pz repaired for $115. I could pick up another for not much more but it wouldn't have a one year warranty.
