I sent a lens to Pentax for fungus cleaning. About a year later it was all fung'd up
again. I thru it in the garbage (FA28-70/4 AL)

Having said that Pentax does good work and gives a one year warranty. I am currently
having a FA28-105pz repaired for $115. I could pick up another for not much more but
it wouldn't have a one year warranty.

But if it is fungus..., well, there seems to be no cure.

Subject: Who does Interior Lens Repair or Cleaning?

I am in the midst of my second-ever bad ebay experience. Based upon some of
the recommendations here, I purchased a F70-210 lens and just got it
yesterday. It took some looking but I can see a bit of haze on what appears
to be the outside of the second piece of glass from the front of the lens.

First is having it cleaned possible? How about feasible? Finally, where in
the heck would I take it for such service? None of the camera shops around
here do such work and only one would send it out to a third party. Any one
have any recommendations or experience with this.

Thanks

Pat
