It would seem to me that a lot of Pentax users thinking about getting the *ist or the *ist-D might be on the prowl for Pentax lenses with the "scarlet letter" A on them. Maybe Pentax might not sell too many FAJ lenses when they come out since so many of the older A's seem to be out there. Right now I am more prone to waiting until a second generation *ist-D comes out that hopefully will meter with the older K and M lenses. If not Pentax maybe Sigma might come out with a digital slr using K mount lenses. I know that is pretty farfetch but one can only dream. Jim A.
