MZ-S has the metal housing but still isn't sealed. This means it is not much
better than an average plastic camera like the MZ-5n unless of course one
uses it for hammering nails. Yet it's not much cheaper from the, say, F100.

This doesn't necessarily constitutes a comercial success. It may be made of
whatever you can imagine - if the price is not competitive, nobody will buy
it except for a few hobbyists.
