I don't know, but I guess the eyepiece assembly and bottom plate would be the 1st to disappear from the parts department. If that bothers you, buy and keep one of each just in case. If you really want a scratch free way to clean that plastic eyepiece, you can use Opti-clean which can be found in UK magazines. I tried it and it's safe (but not on every plastic so beware).

I replaced my eyepiece in my PZ-1 as well.....but yikes are those things
easy to scratch....you don't even want to touch the thing with anything but
a soft cloth. I think regular tissue lens cleaning paper will scratch those
things. But now he's got me wondering if I should send mine in. But it
works great probably kind of dumb I guess. I guess I'd probably go ahead
and do it though if I thought Pentax was going to end service for any model
I have in the near future however. Does anyone have that down to a pattern
that would estimate the probably end of full service dates for the PZ-1 and
PZ-1p?
