Mine certainly does.
FWIW, I have looked at the Canon D60 (I expect similar to the 1Ds) wrt
comparing images taken with it to the same portrait setup in the same
studio, with the same lights as what I use with my 6x7.
I don't know where my break point would be, but it wasn't at 400 in the 6x7.
Perhaps if you had spent more time perfecting your darkroom techniques, you
could have saved yourself a whole whack of money.

Why must this be personal? I stated my experiences, you've now followed up with two insults.
