Yes, there's one of mine there too. Their conditions of use suggest that their
users agree to not break any laws in using the material they find via Lycos -
as if we believe that (to use an Australian expression - in a pig's ear!)
I guess by putting images (or any other material) on a web-site, we are taking
the risk that the material may be down-loaded and used without authorisation by
anyone, anywhere, whether we have given explicit permission or not. I am not
sure whether Lycos could argue that they are only providing a link to an
existing accessible location, and are not authorising illegal use of such
material.
