Just got my copy of Acro 6 for Mac OSX. Sigh.... Still can't use BBEdit Lite as an external JS editor (can't select the program in the "external editors" dialog). On the upside, the built-in editor will now allow editing of all JS's (there are a LOT of JS's in my forms -- probably too many). There were too many of them for the Acro5 editor to handle. You can now pick the display font in the built-in editor, too.

A marvelously dandy feature is the ability to add RTF text to a text field. Haven't figured out how to use it just yet, but it's there in the field appearance choices. (Gotta quit playing with it and do that RTFM thing sooner or later.)

It runs as well as Acro5 did on this 500MHz G3 iBook with just over 300MB of RAM, so you don't actually have to buy a DP G4 and 1.5 GB to run it. Something's cleaner about the appearance, but I can't put my finger on it.

Best feature: It WON'T run in Classic mode! Got both feet on the Unix side of things, so many memory leak problems should be solved.

I've snooped around in it all afternoon, and the inability to use BBEdit Lite is the only thing I've found to bitch about. Not bad, Adobe. Worth the upgrade price.
