Unless something is not working I would leave it alone. Take a look in your log and see what IP address was trying to connect to your computer and what port it was trying to use. I've had my dns server try to connect to my computer several times. I have no idea why it would want to connect and I don't allow it. I've never had any problems blocking it. There are a lot of scans going on out there looking for ways to access other people's computers. If you can't identify the reason for the connection, never allow it.
