Yes, but is the taskbar there ALL of the time? FF has a few different F11/Full Screen extensions and none work like IE. You either have the taskbar there ALWAYS, or NEVER. No one will make an extension, or incorporate into the browser the "show taskbar upon mouse hover" and "don't show taskbar on no mouse hover" like IE has. Know what I mean? :-)
The best I could do was install the "All in one mouse gestures", assign a "right mouse button hold then drag down" macro movement to go to minimize while in full screen mode. Then you'd have the taskbar back, and when you'd click the now minimized FF browser window, you'd be back in FS mode for that window. It's a pain takes a lot to get used to doing that. FF will never overtake IE until they get things like this straight (and fix the bugs). Speaking of: can anyone tell me that's using the VERY LATEST version of FF if they fixed the bug of the download manager/status window not closing when you save or download a tiny file? How 'bout the one where an extra browser window opens every time you click a DIRECT download link, and it never closes until you close it manually? For example, in your address bar put a URL for a download, or click a download URL from an email in OE. After the download is complete, there's still a browser window open even though you never opened one. -Clint Happy Holidays to all & God Bless Clint Hamilton, Owner http://OrpheusComputing.com ----- Original Message ----- From: "LarryB" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Support-OrpheusComputing.com wrote: > > Ok, FF=FireFox. The task bar is still there. My FF is 1.0 preview version. -- LarryB K & L Electronics ============= PCWorks Mailing List ================= Don't see your post?
