I am Linh from Vietnam.
Nowadays when I try to connect to www.google.com I am always redirected to
www.google.com.vn . For years I have been accustomed to the English
interface of the old familiar Google and I don't want this automatic
redirection. How can I stop it?

First off, Google wants you to report this redirection, so see this web page for a form to fill-in.
http://services.google.com/georeport

Next, you can select Preferences from the first page and set your Interface Language to English.
The corresponding Vietnamese page is http://www.google.com.vn/preferences?hl=vi
NOTE: Cookies must be enabled for this to work.

You could also set a Bookmark to the English language web page.

If you have the Google Toolbar (for IE) installed, you can also set the preferences for the English language there. See http://toolbar.google.com/
