PCWorkers,

At work, we are on an intranet and the email program we use is
Netscape Messenger. I believe it's v.4.78. I set each person up with
a "profile" so they are able to use their own preferences. The system
works flawlessly and it is leaps and bounds above the old "green
screen" program we were using.

Naturally, we have one person that has to be critical of this new
system. He keeps making reference to Messenger as being "just another
hotmail account" but has no explanation what hotmail account means.

I've heard of hotmail accounts but was never involved in using one.
What are they, why are they good, bad or indifferent? Any input would
be appreciated.

Thank you,
