Hi Meir....If it's happening when you start up, then it has to be one of
the programs that starts with Windows.  In Safe Mode, go to the Start
button and type msconfig ... Then, in there, look at the Startup section
(I'm not sure exactly where it is in Windows ME but I know it's
there...look for a tab or a button that says Startup)....try unchecking
everything (except Explorer and Systray IF you have both of them), then
reboot into regular mode and see if Windows starts...if it does, you can
go back to msconfig and start adding stuff back, one at a time, until
you find the culprit.
