Microsoft has an addin to Outlook you can download for free here
http://office.microsoft.com/downloads/2000/Pfbackup.aspx.  It is the
Personal Folders Backup for Outlook 2000, I used it when I was running
Outlook for the same reason.  It backs up to one file and restores from it
very neatly too.  HTH
