Hint: Put a comment in any personal overlay ebuilds derived from elsewhere that you intend to use long-term, with the version number and possibly the date you last synced with "upstream". That can make things /much/ easier when it comes time to re-sync and you want to know how far back in the source-overlay's git logs you might need to go digging. =:^) As for my live ebuild, I've not really synced it in "a while", and it's still got a bunch of note-comments from when I did my comparative port between the old autotools-live build and the guru cmake release-version build. I've always meant to "sync up" with the guru-overlay pan-ebuild author and ask about some things, perhaps adding a live version to guru after we've synced, but never have... so the notes remain. -- Duncan - List replies preferred.
