Thanks for the lengthy response. Very quick reply now, longer one (with
context retained once I can do more thoroughl testing.)
My Gentoo system is mostly stable, with only select ~amd64. KDE
stable. I also created a 9999 for pan (cmake) but only got it working
late yesterday, so haven't run it more than a few minutes (no crash in
that time, at least.) I'll test further to see how it goes, and I'll
compare the versions of the packages you listed. I'll also post the
ebuild to see if I've done anything stupid. I discovered some dumb
differences between it and the stable version in Guru, and updated the
syntax, but I may have based it off an earlier version, but still cmake
based.
