Thanks.  I was simply confused in that I believed escaping []-^ could be 
done in character classes.  I had where they could be put to avoid the 
escaping correct, I just thought escaping could be used as well.  I'm 
very glad to have myself disabused of that notion, so again, thanks! =8^)

(RE: The other discussion, I /think/ it was this group/list.  See what I 
mean about the benefit of posting to a group where someone's likely to be 
able to popup and correct any error I might make!  Everyone benefits!  I 
certainly did, being disabused of such a notion, which could prove 
frustrating were I to try to use it. =8^)
