Oh, and just for the record: The package is called gtk2-engines-gtk-qt on the Debian side of the world :-) From its description: The GTK-Qt Theme Engine [...] is a GTK 2 theme engine that calls Qt to do the actual drawing. This makes your GTK 2 applications look almost like real Qt applications and gives you a more unified desktop experience. I don't follow the development process of the new Pan versions, but I think that it'd be nice if Pan could be convinced to use score colors even if this package is used. As long as KNode still sucks so bad^W^W^W is not really feature-complete, Pan will be the default newsreader for many KDE users and this problem might become more common.
