Hello Florian, PacketFence supports what you are describing, it’s called the Inline mode where PacketFence is the router for that dedicated network.

Once you have configured that on PF, you will need to put your equipment where client connects into that Inline VLAN. It could be an Access point or a Switch. Clients should get an IP address on that inline VLAN given by PacketFence. After getting an IP address, you should be able to register on the captive portal. Inline mode is not working using RADIUS.
