When I was setting up our OTC environment, I had an unexpected issue similar to 
this. I had to create a device "Keyboard: English" and assign it to each of my 
thinclients. I've done this through the "Standard" hardware type.

IIRC, it would default to British English or something similar to that, without 
the thinclient being told to use this device.

I'm using the VM appliance and am having an issue with keyboard mapping. The \ 
key shows up as #. I'm set to US English, but there must be something I'm 
missing. Please advise.
