Things are going better for my scrub now. It seemed stuck at 0.95%
completion but now I see it is suddenly 52.08% done (oops, now at
70.33% done while writing this mail!) and I finally see significant
data movement from the disks.
This pool has 16155 snapshots. It appears that snapshots don't come
for free with these "near line" (should be "near near line")
enterprise disks and give the outdated pool version. Also, it is wise
to keep up to date with Illumos in order to gain benefit from the
continuing improvements. My other zfs arrays (also with large numbers
of snapshots) don't seem to have these scrub issues.
