Thanks very much for your suggestions. But to see what MY level is... zpool upgrade -v tells me everyting except the pool version. Neither does "zpool get version poolname" . It just shows a nice "-" (dash). Any way , I use the latest (default) version which is 5 or (5000 ?) as far as I know... I will try your suggestions surely!
I believe this means the version with feature flags, so OI distros without that (pre-May 2012 IIRC) won't import the pool willingly. The feature-flags were meant to drive the pool numbering scheme into obsolescence, in lack of a common cooperative authority to linearly and conflictlessly number the new software features. Nonetheless, you might try the a5 or a4 releases for a LiveDVD test (if they work, this narrows the range of code updates to revise), and the a1 driver in an a7 environment. After all, the block-level scsi driver and ZFS capabilities are quite independent things :) //Jim _______________________________________________ OpenIndiana-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://openindiana.org/mailman/listinfo/openindiana-discuss
