I am very ashamed. 
I used "pkg add" instead of "pkgadd" 
That's the problem when you are on a tight schedule and things stop working.


My apologies to the list.

I do not understand well,
on openindiana you can install a pkg by doing :

you have to change folder (cd) to the folder you have downloaded the pkg,
pkgadd -d ./localfile.pkg
