Hello, earlier this year there were rumors indicating that a current OpenOffice build for Solaris was underway. But now (a few months later) there is still no indication of Solaris support - neither on the OpenOffice nor the LibreOffice download pages :-(
To an unbiased observer, it seems that both projects are now neglecting Solaris and related distributions. This would be very sad, since without a viable office suite, Solaris on the desktop is largely dead (of course it is more optimized for server installations, but there are still quite a few people using it as their primary desktop OS as well). Any news I may be missing? As far as I remember, there were also plans for a native LibreOffice version in the OI repos - did this make any progress?
