Hi Hillel, KDE 4.5.1 on OpenIndiana was already confirmed by the Pavel Heimlich (Hajma), the current KDE4Solaris maintainer, and mentioned in his blog.
See: http://blog.hajma.cz/2010/09/kde4-on-openindiana.html Just add the publisher to your install and do "pfexec pkg install KDEgdm-integration". It sits on top of the install (not removing GNOME/JDS). You can also use their mirror at: http://pkg.osladil.cz:30000/ ~ Ken Mays --- On Tue, 9/21/10, Hillel Lubman <[email protected]> wrote: > From: Hillel Lubman <[email protected]> > Subject: Re: [OpenIndiana-discuss] Userland questions? > To: "Discussion list for OpenIndiana" <[email protected]> > Date: Tuesday, September 21, 2010, 11:09 AM > May be OpenSolaris KDE repo at > bionicmutton can be merged with OpenIndiana's > one so they'll become a part of one project? > > Thanks, > > Hillel. > > On Tue, Sep 21, 2010 at 10:11 AM, Michael <[email protected]> > wrote: > > > > > for the record, the repository URL is > > http://solaris.bionicmutton.org:10000/; > see > > http://techbase.kde.org/Projects/KDE_on_Solaris/OpenSolaris > for > > instructions.
