Closing this task because the implementation direction currently represented by #6297 cannot be shipped under ASF release policy.\n\nThe current approach uses , whose default runtime provider is Hibernate ORM 6.x. Hibernate ORM 6.x and Hibernate Commons Annotations are LGPL-2.1 dependencies. The ASF classifies LGPL 2/2.1/3 as Category X, which cannot be included in Apache source or binary releases:\n\nhttps://www.apache.org/legal/resolved.html#category-x\n\nShenYu's Admin distribution packages runtime dependencies into its binary directory, so this is not only a development-time dependency. Listing the artifacts in does not make Category X redistribution acceptable.\n\nThe JPA specification itself is not the problem. A future proposal may revisit the goal with an ASF-compatible provider and a fully audited transitive dependency chain, plus validation across ShenYu's supported databases.
