Thanks @wy471x — agreed on the probabilistic assertion: after the fix each `zh(2,5)` draw hits lengths 4–5 with p = 0.5, so the chance of never reaching the upper half in 500 draws is 0.5^500 ≈ 3e-151; on master the test fails deterministically instead (`IllegalArgumentException: bound must be positive` for `zh(2,3)`).
