No offense taken. :smile: It was a bit surprising to encounter the "tunneling" filesystem behaviour, but at least there seems to be an explanation for it. _In theory_ it's possible that some non-Windows filesystems could produce a similar behaviour (e.g. as part of a caching scheme), or even some other strange behaviour related to creationTime attributes. So in that sense having an extra sanity check (when the underlying filesystem supports creationTime) might still have some value. :relaxed:
