I'm not far from installing Crouton Linux on my Chromebook. Other than
constant minor irritations of how Chrome OS works (or doesn't work), and
obvious reasons, Chrome OS updates have been mucking about with WiFi, which
has made my WiFi either: 1. not work, or 2. work every few minutes when it
decides it wants to.... (I had a work around, but the latest update has
prevented 2.4G connection and made 5G intolerable!)

One of the things I didn't think I'd have any problem with is creating a
recovery image... Evidently ithere are different versions depending on
which hardware version of HP Chromebook x360 14 hardware I have (original,
a, b, or c version), and the utility doesn't do anything to determine
that...

Does model 14-da0011dx and/or sku_number=4XU18UA#ABA indicate I have the
original model version?
