Yes, but the problem is chicken-and-egg. I can't boot up a machine if the memory isn't good, and I can't test that the memory is good without booting up the machine.
The only way around this would be either a) find someone with a (known good) machine that takes the identical memory that I have, or b) find someone with a hardware memory tester.
