I'd be happy to avoid Win10 since Win7 works just fine for me. But I must confess that it's tempting to have Win7 AND Win10 if I can get Win10 for free. But that would just add layers of complexity and headache that I really can't handle right now. Besides, I probably won't have the new SSD in time to get the free upgrade anyway
So... The new plan will be... 1) acquire new SSD (maybe Samsung this time) 2) partition new SSD 3) install Win7 3A) Curse 4) install Fedora 23 4A) Curse a little more 5) set up an automatic backup of some sort.
