I'll pipe in and say that I heartily agree that hosting the website on a server that will be automatically updated whenever security updates are available is a Good Thing. We have a Wordpress-powered site and it is hosted by a company that automatically installs the Wordpress updates for us and tests the site after every update. I'm sure there are hosting companies that offer the same thing for Joomla powered sites.
