Absolutely.  I have my work laptop setup to boot up to either Windows or Linux 
and then I can run the other from a VM.

It's very interesting.

There are a couple of sites, I'll have to dig up that I used to get it figured 
out.

I have my home PC also setup to run Winblows7 that way, I never run windows if 
I don't have to.  :D

that's a start anyway.
make sure you look up the mergeide utility.  
That site focuses on Ubuntu, so if you're running Fedora you'll need to use dd 
to create the FAKEMBR file insead of installmbr, and I can't at the moment find 
the command.

Running LInux in Windows is easier, if you don't mind having to make sure you 
select linux in the grub window when it comes up.

I'll try to hunt up the URL I used for running Linux in a VM later, gotta get 
on a online meeting.
