It's time to start looking to replace my current system, so I'm shopping
for parts to complement the parts that I already have. Before I work up
an order at Newegg, I figured I would check to see if any of you have
some of these items (or similar) sitting around and want to get rid of
it. No need to buy new when something "previously loved" is gathering
dust, right? :-)
So, here's what I'm shopping for:
CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor ($190.98 @ Newegg)

RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3-1866 Memory ($66.98 @ Newegg)

I've already got a case, mouse, keyboard, hard drives, DVD drives, etc.
CONSIDERATIONS...
1) I prefer to use one merchant if possible, and I've had good luck with
Newegg.
2) I chose only items that had 4 or 5 star ratings
3) I chose an SLI MB in case I ever wanted to add a 2nd video card.
4) I'll be doing a little bit of gaming, and occasionally visiting
Second Life. Any other usage would be generic, non-demanding stuff.
Feel free to reply off-list. That's probably what the rest of the list
would prefer anyway. heh heh :-D
