For black and white lasers, I still swear by the HP LaserJets, pre-P####
nomenclature models, such as the 2100, 2200, 2300, 4000, 4100, 8000 and
8100. The single digit models were legendary (our high schools used 4Ms and
5Ms forever).

For color, I like HP, Brother, Xerox, Minolta and Samsung.

Check linuxprinting.org for compatibility with the printer before you buy
any printer and expect Linux support first.
