Not to add a lot to this list, but thought I would make a bit
of noise here.

HP has certainly been one of the aggravations I have had to put up with
on an ongoing basis.  The other one that I ought to put on the
aggravation list is Nvidea video drivers.

With running Ubuntu I see crash complaints or similar often from both.
Luckily they don't cause any known issues with ongoing operation
(at least with Ubuntu 12.04).

I hope we see an end to these issues (and a resolution) at some point.
It is certainly an uncalled for aggravation.  I do use some
multifunction HP hardware.  It does actually work well.  I don't
necessarily use their tools though.
